Coaching Terms Until Further Notice

Now that Corona Virus is becoming a household term, I feel it is imperative to update coaching terms for anyone beginning a 1:1 and group program.  These terms apply from May 1 202o until further notice.

Individual and Group Coaching

INTEGRITY:  You are entering a coaching relationship that will offer you clarity and confidence to write your book. We agree to come to each meeting ready to work together.  I am committed to your growth and I put careful planning into your future sessions.  

WRITING:  Because this is not therapy, you will be supported with questions and writing techniques that work with your learning style.  You are welcome to send your writing (of 1-10 pages) 48 hours prior to a coaching session for review.  Please allow one week for writing of 11 pages or more.

CONFIDENTIALITY:  I promise to respect your privacy and your project. I will not disclose information or associate your identity with personal or business conversations. I will never use your last name if you call Story U Talk Radio for additional coaching. You are ALWAYS welcome to begin group coaching calls with a pen name until you choose to be public about your real name.  

MEETINGS:  Scheduled appointment on Zoom.  No meetings will take place face to face after May 1, 2020 until further notice.    

RE-SCHEDULING:  Please be mindful of your appointments by rescheduling on a limited basis.  No same-day rescheduling unless due to an emergency.

GUESTS:  Do not bring guests to classes or 1:1 coaching sessions.

CONTRACTUAL PAUSE:  Periodically, a pause may be in order for clients with a one-year contract.  Please request a non-paid meeting to discuss your needs.  In the case of a prolonged illness or an unforeseen or life-threatening event, you may receive a credit for up to two years. 

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:  Pay in full to waive all fees or interest.  Please feel free to request a payment schedule of 3 payments or more with an 8% increase before entering your initial contract.  

GRIEVANCES: If you are not happy with my performance after 14 days of our initial agreement, you may file a grievance to receive a full refund within 180 days after filing.  The grievance makes certain of no future work together. 

VOICE RECORDINGS:  I reserve the right to capture voice recordings of any or all coaching meetings. You may request Zoom recordings at the beginning of any meeting.

RENEWALS:  You may be considered for renewal if you are meeting the terms of the initial agreement.  Your coachable history and payments must be in good standing.  Agreements are binding upon first payment of renewal.

COACH DEBBY AGREES:  I will not step out of agreement, ie: request an extended break, change the terms, or decline services unless I have a life-threatening concern.  I agree to serve you as a qualified and ambitious coach. These words are binding and I stand behind them. 

INDIVIDUALIZED COACHING INCLUDES:

1:1 meetings bi-weekly

Full access to all survey classes

Full access to group coaching each month

Full access to all FB groups

Front row status when interacting with Story U live shows

***While some clients prefer private mentoring, I encourage you to join as much of the listed support structures as possible.
