The Superstars is the community that will help you own the identity of being a writer, whether you’re creating blog posts, Podcasts, speeches, poems, recipes — pretty much anything!
So who are the Superstars?
We are a small, engaged group of spiritual writers. Everyone invited to the group has completed a program with Alan.
We focus on spiritual writing, and we meet the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month from July through December.
Each meeting takes place on zoom and is 90 minutes: for the first 30 minutes, we share hellos and giggles, and then I offer a writing technique. People love it. If you attend all meetings, you will be super equipped to write practically ANYTHING!
For one hour, we open up to group coaching. This is also a great time to receive feedback from the other members.
You are NOT required to bring your writing to the meetings. Some of the members are very verbal…. so they ask questions about the topic and they ask for coaching, but they don’t necessarily share their writing, and that is perfectly fine. Do what honors you.
I also throw in mindset skills to help you with practical challenges, such as time management, setting boundaries, claiming your author identity… and whatever the group requests.
As a Member
You receive an invitation to our private WhatsApp community where any member can post their writing and receive positive, uplifting feedback from the other members.
Even though I am rarely on the WhatsApp page, you are more than welcome to send me your writing (to my email) and receive personalized feedback from me.
Everyone in the group is kind to each other, or else!
(Honestly, I’ve never had a problem with anyone.)
Finally, one way to self–qualify is by noticing if you already post your writing publicly and vulnerably every single week. If you don’t, or if this scares you on any level, then membership to this group will change you for the better! You’ll find confidence, clarity, and productivity that you may have never experienced before. And after only a few months, members have testified to the added benefit of dropping old habits (such as doom scrolling, delaying, missing deadlines) that had plagued them before joining the community.

A little about me
Debby Handrich began her teaching career as an Associate Professor in 2000, teaching essay writing and literature to college students. Her love for poetry and fiction helped her become the director for the school’s publishing program where her students claimed regional and national first-place honors for their popular literary magazine.
While teaching Joseph Campbell’s philosophies of the Hero’s Journey, she craved a spiritual community and went entrepreneurial after completing Alan Cohen’s advanced coaching program in 2013.
She’s offered keynote speeches at Humanities and 12-step conventions on topics such as overcoming bullying and rising above disability.
To Debby’s delight, she found a love of combining life coaching with memoir and story-telling. Her radio show, Story U Talk Radio, airs weekly and features teachings from mysticism and spiritual laws, as well as woo-inspired skills for both new and active writers. She has interviewed 300 authors and thought leaders, such as John DeMartini, Marci Shimoff, Michael Neill, and of course, Alan Cohen.
Yearly, Debby hosts a Writer’s Mastermind and offers personalized coaching to help leaders, coaches and writers release old thoughts and claim their new story. Debby believes that story-telling and story-witnessing has the capacity to greatly uplift any person from any past.
